ST JOHN IS LAUNCHING A NEW ONLINE BOOK GROUP
Have you ever wondered why the Catholic faithful are obligated to attend Mass on Sundays? Or attended Mass and found yourself struggling to “get something out of it?”
Join St. John’s online book group as we read and discuss “The Lamb’s Supper: The Mass As Heaven on Earth” by popular theologian and Biblical expert Scott Hahn. In clear, user-friendly language, Dr. Hahn “helps readers see the Mass with new eyes, pray the liturgy with a renewed heart, and enter into the Mass more fully, enthusiastically, intelligently, and powerfully than ever before.”The group will meet virtually via Zoom on four Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm: October 29, November 5, November 12, and November 19 for discussion and sharing. The book is available for purchase through Amazon in hard copy or Kindle format, and there is no cost for participation in the book group discussion.
